A New Kind of Research Consultancy.
No fluff. Just actionable insights to build what people actually want.
Hi, I'm Sam, the founder of Research Snacks—a UX research consultancy built to help startups find product-market fit and validate early concepts before burning through time, money, or investor trust.
I started Research Snacks because I kept hearing the same thing from early-stage founders. “ I know I should talk to customers but…”
"How do I find customers to talk to?"
"How do I get them on a call?"
"What do I even ask them without biasing the answers?"
Startups move fast. But speed means nothing if you’re headed in the wrong direction. And the biggest nightmare? Building something no one wants.
With over 7+ years as a product researcher in the trenches of early-stage startups in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles, Fortune 500s like Meta, HP, JP Morgan Chase, and first hand experience in small business sales talking to 50–80 business owners a day, I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to build products that shift human behavior.
Research Snacks was born from one simple truth:
That talking to customers early and often can make or break a startup.
I created a nimble, no-BS approach to research that gets founders clear insights—fast. Whether you’re testing a new idea, refining your MVP, or preparing for your next investor call, we help you get the proof points you need to grow.
Think of it as bite-sized, high-impact research, strategic enough to guide your next product pivot, lean enough to actually get the job done.
Because if you don’t have the data to show traction, adoption, and growth? That next check might not land.
Let’s make sure you’re building the right thing.

More About Sam
Sam’s journey into research started in SMB sales at Yelp, where she spoke with 50–80 business owners a day. Digging into their successes and failures sparked a deeper curiosity—one that pulled her from closing deals into the world of user research.
With roots in music and acting, she brings creative energy and storytelling into everything she does—whether she’s leading product discovery sprints or hand modeling in Google’s latest AI campaign. (Fun fact: she once played the Hyundai Help Girl, teaching new car owners how to use their vehicles—UX meets acting!)
Endlessly curious, Sam’s passion lies in finding the patterns, strategies, and emotional levers that spark meaningful behavior change in global products—and beyond.
